Overview of Oct. 16-18 in Houston: 
Saturday details are confirmed, but Friday and Sunday times/locations may shift once we have an idea of headcount. Thanks for your patience! 
  • Friday October 16, 4pm - 8pm at a kid-friendly patio bar with food options
  • Saturday October 17, 7pm - 11pm at Nouveau, 2913 Main St, Houston, TX 77002 
  • Sunday October 18, 12pm - 3pm at a different kid-friendly patio/bar with food options 

The Saturday venue is in Midtown, and the locations for Friday and Sunday will likely be either in the East End/Segundo Barrio, Montrose, or the Heights (all neighborhoods within the 610 loop). 
We will continue to update this page with recommendations for your visit to Houston, including hotels, restaurants, and other places worth visiting. Reach out to us with any questions you have in the meantime. 

The Events

Friday October 16th, 4pm - 8pm
We’ll have some space reserved at a kid-friendly bar/patio that serves food. If you’ve got time, come spend it with us. If not, we’ll see you Saturday!
Saturday October 17th, 7pm - 11pm
We’ll have food available and places to sit and mingle, but we won’t have space to party and have a formal dinner. Be sure to include dietary restrictions/preferences in your RSVP.

Keeping with Houston’s love of cultural fusions, we’ll be celebrating a bit differently. This is an opportunity to revel in surviving international wedding planning, merging our friends and families through official legal means, and to enjoy one another. 

Our highlights:
  • Madeleine is wearing her dress, but probably with boots. Ken is wearing a suit. Crystal alligators abound. 
  • Open bar! 
  • Excellent dancing (include a song request on your RSVP!)

A few lagniappe logistics:
  • Kids are welcome!
  • Come dressed up and ready to celebrate! Dresses of all lengths, suits with ties optional, and comfortable dancing shoes. Remember that it will be warm this far south in October. 

Sunday October 18th, 12pm - 3pm
This will be a re-play of the Friday plans -- another kid-friendly bar/patio that serves food.
